O&M Support

NAES provides professional personnel proficient in the disciplines necessary for successful power plant operations and maintenance. With our vast experience and knowledge, we provide several key O&M support services to plant Owners including:

  • Project Development & Setup

    Whether you are developing a new project or taking over an existing plant, NAES provides an all-encompassing program of develop support and setup services.
  • Due Diligence

    NAES will support the plant owner or potential owner in reviewing plant effectiveness and performance from an O&M perspective. We will review operations, maintenance, safety, environmental, training, and financial records based on the needs of the review.
  • EPC & LTSA Negotiation Support

    NAES will review EPC contracts and OEM long-term service agreements and provide comments and recommendations to help the Owner obtain a more competitive agreement for their plant.
  • O&M Oversight

    NAES offers self-operators an opportunity to improve their O&M performance by providing O&M oversight, or "technology transfer" services. NAES will setup an Owner of greenfield projects with staffing, operational program development, training, and short or long-term oversight services during plant commercial operations. NAES will make periodic site visits, review reports, respond to questions, make recommendations, and conduct follow-ups to maximize benefits for the Owner.
  • Operability Reviews

    NAES will review and provide recommendations to the Owner on plant/machinery plans and drawings with respect to their impact on plant operations and maintenance.
  • Operations Assessments

    As part of our services, we conduct periodic assessments of your operations to encourage continuous improvement by your plant staff. After each visit, we will prepare a report that contains observations and recommendations.
  • Safety

    NAES will perform safety related consulting services including preparing safety procedures for a variety of safety topics including those required by different regulations such as lockout/tagout, confined space and others, as well as developing procedures following best management safety practices such as performing safety inspections and reporting. NAES will perform safety assessments and safety training.
  • Environment

    NAES will prepare environmental manuals that include procedures addressing air, water, noise emissions, and solid waste and hazardous material management and will be in compliance with local controls, permits and regulations. NAES will assist with the setup of the environmental program and procedures to be in full compliance, develop tools for tracking routine requirements, conduct training, and perform periodic assessments.
