NAES formed NACES in 1986 to provide engineering, technical, management and administrative personnel to utility clients either on a temporary basis to address peak workloads and special projects, or on a permanent basis through direct recruitment. In 1989, we began staff augmentation contracts outside of our immediate circle of utility clients.

Recognizing the potential for new business opportunities in the rapidly growing staffing industry, in 1991 we expanded our client base to include U.S. Department of Energy facilities and their respective architectural engineering firms. In 1994, we successfully entered the hi-tech industry, focusing primarily on the information technology and telecommunications industries. And in 1996, at the request of many of our customers, we added our Administrative/Clerical and Light Industrial divisions, enabling the Company to offer a comprehensive range of staffing services.

Today we are a national company with regional offices located in Texas and Washington with staffing service capabilities for the entire United States.

Whatever your staffing needs, whether it's contract personnel, "temp-to-perm", direct recruitment for permanent placements, or special projects personnel management, such as payroll services, NAES has the flexibility to provide just the right combination of services to meet your needs.   • Contract Personnel

    NAES sources, prescreens, and recommends qualified candidates to meet your need for additional personnel. You retain the option to accept or reject any candidate referred by NAES. NAES assumes responsibility for the selected employee's pay, legally required withholdings from earnings, benefits administration, statutory employer contributions (FICA, FUI, SUI), and worker's compensation insurance/benefits. You also have the option of hiring a NAES contract employee as a full-time, direct employee once the individual has completed an agreed upon assignment period.

    NAES placed personnel have supported a wide variety of activities including initial design and engineering, project development, start-up, and construction to facilities support, and operations and maintenance.

    NAES has also provided project management and/or specialized technical personnel to support critical path programs as well as refueling and maintenance outages. In addition, NAES is signatory to various IBEW local agreements to further meet specific requirements of its customers.

  • Temp-To-Perm

    Want to try out a prospective employee before making a final hiring decision? NAES has the answer with our "Temp-to-Perm" program. You and the employee enter into a trial period of typically 90 days. It's an ideal way for you and the candidate to evaluate the fit before you make a hiring decision so that you get the most qualified candidate.

  • Direct Recruitment

    Busy and don't have time to recruit, screen and interview candidates for position openings in your company? NAES offers recruitment services for direct placement to an organization. Upon receipt of a position description, NAES works with the customer's Human Resources Department and/or hiring managers to source, prescreen and reference check prospective, qualified employees, as well as facilitate interviews, employment offers, and transition processes.

  • Payroll Services

    Do you have former or retired employees you want to bring back for a special project? Do you require an employee with specialized skills and experience but are unable to hire full-time? In these circumstances, NAES employs known personnel on a temporary basis. NAES assumes responsibility for employee administration and "payroll services."
